One of the keys to success on Empire Avenue, from my perspective, is to make sure your profile looks like you are busy at it.  A simple step for this is to add lots of interests and brands that you like.

You get badges and credits for adding 50 interests and 50 brands — a benefit in itself.  While it takes a bit of thought, it is an easy way to show that you are serious about building your influence at Empire.  This will make people more likely to invest in you.

Yet another benefit is that anybody looking for one your listed brands or interests will find you in the list of members for those items.  The more people that can find you, the more potential investors you have.
